About the Role

We have a new opportunity for a Cost Manager to support the delivery of a comprehensive programme involving new build facilities and refurbishment to support ongoing and future operations on the Client site.

Responsibilities

  1. Drive performance standards and ensure technical excellence through effective communication.
  2. Support Project and Programme Managers in Monthly Finance and Delivery Reviews.
  3. Assist in Cost Engineering functions by working with Project Managers to provide accurate forecasts for the project lifecycle and financial year.
  4. Collaborate with the Project Planner to ensure forecasts are aligned with the project programme.
  5. Review and monitor costs and forecasts to demonstrate continued affordability.
  6. Produce timely Cost Reporting Outputs for month-end reporting and input into relevant financial systems.
  7. Attend monthly supplier project meetings and carry out contract administration as needed.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have experience working within a Project Controls or Commercial team on complex projects, with a detailed knowledge of cost engineering, cost control, and cost analysis, preferably in a nuclear or regulated environment.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of NEC Contracts
  • Experience with CEMAR
  • Chartered status is preferred

Location & Security

This role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week at our Glasgow City Centre office. Candidates must hold SC Clearance, and UK residency/nationality restrictions apply due to security requirements.
