About the Role
We have a new opportunity for a Cost Manager to support the delivery of a comprehensive programme involving new build facilities and refurbishment to support ongoing and future operations on the Client site.
Responsibilities
- Drive performance standards and ensure technical excellence through effective communication.
- Support Project and Programme Managers in Monthly Finance and Delivery Reviews.
- Assist in Cost Engineering functions by working with Project Managers to provide accurate forecasts for the project lifecycle and financial year.
- Collaborate with the Project Planner to ensure forecasts are aligned with the project programme.
- Review and monitor costs and forecasts to demonstrate continued affordability.
- Produce timely Cost Reporting Outputs for month-end reporting and input into relevant financial systems.
- Attend monthly supplier project meetings and carry out contract administration as needed.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have experience working within a Project Controls or Commercial team on complex projects, with a detailed knowledge of cost engineering, cost control, and cost analysis, preferably in a nuclear or regulated environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of NEC Contracts
- Experience with CEMAR
- Chartered status is preferred
Location & Security
This role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week at our Glasgow City Centre office. Candidates must hold SC Clearance, and UK residency/nationality restrictions apply due to security requirements.
