Vacancy Description
- Working in the Manufacturing Team
- Primarily located in the TTP workshop, making and modifying parts for product development projects
- Collaborating with various colleagues across the business on projects and participating in design reviews
- Carrying out other tasks within the Manufacturing Team, such as prototype assembly and debugging.
- Training on safe operation of machinery
- Training on specific CNC and manual machine tools
- Training in hand-tool use, especially around precision modification of components
- Training in understanding of fundamental mechanical design principles with a hands-on perspective, for example, fitting techniques, clearances, gear PCDs, bearings, etc.
- Training in production line set-up and manufacturing techniques
- Training in fault-finding and system debugging.

Training to be Provided
- The apprenticeship will be day release to college two days in the first year and working at TTP the other three days with a mentor. Then the next three years will be a day release to Cambridge Regional College and four days in the workplace with a mentor.
