1:1 Teaching Assistant Location: Boston, Lincolnshire Salary: £83.33 to £90.00 per day Start Date: October Half Term 2024 Contract type: Part-time Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? GSL Education Lincoln is currently recruiting a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive and inclusive school in Boston, Lincolnshire . We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and compassionate teaching assistant who will provide individualized support to students with special educational needs. Job Summary: This role requires working with and supporting an identified child with specified academic, physical, emotional/behavioural/medical needs on an individual basis. One has to be a patient and dedicated individual who can adapt to the unique learning styles and needs of each student. Responsibilities of a 1:1 Teaching Assistant: Provide 1:1 support to students with special educational needs. Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure tailored support. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Monitor and record the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Qualifications for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a 1:1 setting. Knowledge of special educational needs and strategies to support them. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting young learners. Strong communicationand interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
