To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.We will fully support disabled candidates, and candidates with long-term conditions or who are neurodivergent by making reasonable adjustments to our recruitment policy and practices.The Post holder works collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide a high quality, comprehensive and dynamic specialist nursing service to maintain and improve the health and well being of children and adults with learning disability in a community setting.This post will cover the 4 CLDT’s in the City of Edinburgh.COMMUNITY LEARNING DISABILITY NURSE PERMANENT FULLTIME 37 HOURS WEEK BAND 6 NURSE HEALTH NEEDS ASSESSMENTThis post provides an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced RNLD to join the multi-professional Community Learning Disability Team, which provides a specialist service to children and adults with learning disabilities in the city of Edinburgh.The Post holder will work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide a high quality, comprehensive and dynamic specialist nursing service to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of children and adults with learning disability in a community setting. The post holder will lead the implementation of LD health checks across the city of Edinburgh and support two Band 5 nurses to carry out Health Needs Assessments on individuals with a Learning Disability, through all the GP Surgeries within the city of Edinburgh.
