1st Line Support Analyst Nottingham 6-Month Fixed Term Contract - Up to £25k + Benefits
This well-established organisation requires a driven and self-motivated Service Desk Engineer to join their technical support team. The key to this role is to provide desktop support for a well-established service desk that has a user base of over two thousand.
The Service Desk Engineer will be troubleshooting and resolving incidents and service requests whilst ensuring all IT issues raised are logged as an incident or service request as appropriate within the ticketing system. You will be required to build and configure laptop, Surface Pro and desktop hardware for new colleagues whilst also supporting projects that involve elements of IT kit installations or the decommissioning of kit.
This role will be based in central Nottingham and is initially a 6-month fixed term contract but there may be scope for extension following this.
Key Requirements:
User account administration within Active Directory and Exchange 2010
Windows 7 and Windows 10 Enterprise environments
Microsoft Office 2010 (including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)
Microsoft SCCM 2010
Laptop and desktop PC hardware components
ITIL qualifications would be beneficial
