Job Title: 2nd Line Junior Project Engineer
Location: Leeds
Salary: £28,000
Job Summary:
We are currently recruiting for a 2nd Line Junior Project Engineer to join our IT Services team in Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers via service desk tickets as well as participating in the development and maintenance of projects. The ideal candidate should have excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, and be able to work collaboratively and autonomously.
Job Duties:
* Provide technical and administrative support via the service desk
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
* Install and configure hardware and software
* Perform system maintenance tasks
* Write technical documentation and reports
* Participate in the development and maintenance of projects
* Provide technical advice and guidance to customers
* Respond to customer queries and complaints
* Monitor and manage system performance
* Identify and implement process improvements
* Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
* Keep up to date with industry trends and developments
Technical Skills Required:
* Knowledge of Windows operating systems
* Knowledge of network protocols and technologies
* Knowledge of virtualisation technologies
* Knowledge of database technologies
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Ability to work to strict deadlines
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
