Position: 360 Excavator Operator - Pipelaying Gang Location: Thurston, Suffolk Hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Duration: Temporary Employment Salary: Competitive, based on experience Requirements: CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS logo) Card - Lifting Ops Foundation Personnel is seeking a skilled 360 Excavator Operator to work as part of a pipelaying gang in Thurston, Suffolk . The project involves working on roads and sewers, operating an excavator for drainage works up to 3 meters deep. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in drainage, roadworks, and sewers, as well as operating excavators safely within a team. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a 360 excavator within a pipelaying gang, specifically for deep drainage (up to 3 meters) on roads and sewers. Assist in the installation of drainage systems, roads, and sewer works, ensuring precision and safety. Operate the excavator for lifting tasks as required, following best practices and safety protocols. Work closely with other team members and site supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Strictly adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment at all times. Qualifications and Experience: CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS logo) Card is required, with Lifting Ops certification. Proven experience in operating 360 excavators, especially within a drainage and civils context. Experience working on roads, sewers, and deep drainage. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to plant machinery and site operations. Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
