Year 4 Teacher | January 2024
Wayman Education is looking for a Year 4 teacher in Amersham from January 2024! This is an opportunity to work within a ‘Good' primary school in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, Southeast England from January 2024. The school is looking to appoint a class teacher who will enjoy teaching an academic yet creative, topic-based curriculum in a school with exceptional pastoral care.
Responsibilities of a Year 4 teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective classes to Year 4 students based on the National Curriculum
- Provide ongoing feedback and support to Year 4 students to encourage growth and development
- Create a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices
- Use data to inform teaching decisions and adapt instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on Year 4 student progress
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- One-form entry school located in a lovely residential area of Amersham, Buckinghamshire
- Friendly environment that welcomes early career teachers (ECTs) with open arms

- Easy commute to and within Amersham, Buckinghamshire via public transport
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching Year 4 in a primary school setting
- A solid understanding of the National Curriculum and how to tailor instruction to meet its requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to providing high-quality education to children
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments and schools
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
