ABA Therapist | Clapham Junction | Wandsworth | Immediate Start
Payscale: £85-£95 per day
Duration: Ongoing

Q:Are you a qualified ABA therapist looking for a new role in primary education starting immediatelly
Q:LTF are looking for qualified ABA Teaching Assistants to support a local primary school in Clapham Junction, Wandsworth.
This "Good" Ofsted Rated school is a 5 minute walk from Clapham Junction station with excellent transport links links.
You will be required to provide ABA support for a child in lower KS2. This will be a 121 role for the student in a very supportive mainstream school while using the principles and techniques of ABA to enable them to access learning. This role can be either part time or full time Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30am - 3:45pm.
Implementing ABA principles to provide therapy to children with cognitive and adaptive problems.
Organising interventions to benefit the learning of students
Implement strategies to support individual needs of the students which will include ABA, Speech and Language
Review and record all child progress
Be supportive and committed to the child you are working with
Be a positive and motivational role model for all children in the learning environment
Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
The school are only looking to accept applications from people who:
Hold a relevant degree such as Psychology, Drama or Linguistics
Have at least one years' school based experience within EYFS, KS1 or KS2
Understand how to work with SEN pupils
Are capable of understanding the primary school curriculum
Can build relationships with pupils quickly and efficiently
Are reliable and hold a great attendance and punctuallity record
Enhanced DBS Certificate (within 1 year or on the update service)
2 X Refs
Right to work in the UK
This role would best suit someone who has experience of working with primary children in a support / SEN role. It would also be appropriate for psychology graduates, speech and language graduates or anyone with an SEN background. This may also suit someone wanting to take on teacher training in the future for more classroom experience.
