A small but mighty healthcare communications agency with spacious modern offices in the heart of central London is looking for a bright and energetic graduate looking to start their career in healthcare PR and communications. This year they have already been listed as finalists in multiple categories at prestigious industry awards and are aiming to grow their team of talented healthcare communications professionals.
You will work on projects spanning crisis and issues management, corporate reputation, internal comms, patient advocacy and activation, social and digital and product and unbranded comms.
In practice, this can mean a host of exciting projects from mental health campaigns for key NHS workers to communicating innovations in genetic testing.
The Account Director role:
- Establish and develop strong client relationships with UK and Global clients
- You will act as a leader in the team, as well as leading on client programmes
- Proactively look to grow accounts and new business
- You will be expected to inspire, coach and develop the junior team under your management
The ideal Account Director will have:
- You must have experience in a healthcare PR agency up to at least Senior Account Manager
- Experience taking ownership of client programmes (UK & Global)
- You will have worked in a variety of therapeutic areas and have demonstrated the ability to gather in-depth knowledge of the healthcare landscape as well as your client's business and the issues surrounding it
- You will have experience in pitching for new business
- Knowledge of the UK media/comms landscape and strong media relations
