Job Description

An exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Account Executive / Managerto join a market leading family business. My client is a well-established pharmaceutical company who specialise in professional and consumer health medical products and manage an extensive brand portfolio with clients globally. Impressively they have secured contracts to provide life-saving medical equipment to both the MOD and the NHS.

They are currently looking for an Account Manager who has strong administration and professional sales skills.

You will be responsible for managing business relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and increase sales. You will help to implement strategies that increase revenue and drive business growth. Conducting market research, analysing trends and preparing reports on sales performance and productivity.

The following are some of the key responsibilities of an Account Executive:

  • Managing and maintaining relationships with existing clients
  • Unearthing new sales opportunities through networking and turning them into long-term partnerships.
  • Presenting products to prospective clients.
  • Providing professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty.
  • Remaining in regular contact with clients to understand and meet their needs.
  • Responding to complaints and resolving issues to the customer’s satisfaction and to maintain the company’s reputation.
  • Negotiating agreements and keeping records of sales and data.
  • Managing the entire sales cycle from finding a potential client to securing a deal.

The ideal candidate for this role should have the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive, or similar sales/customer service role.
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (eg. Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • A business acumen.
  • Enthusiasm and passion.
  • Have a proven track record
