The Agency

We are working with a Leading Brand Experience & Field Marketing Agency that excels in delivering top-notch sales and brand experiences tailored for major corporate brands looking to execute large-scale sampling, selling, trialling, and auditing initiatives, consistently and continuously.

The Role

Operations, technology, and staffing functions are at the core of the agency proposition. This role oversees the technology used at the heart of our business and for one of our most important clients, working on an always-on partnership account that deploys a trained workforce to demonstrate and sell a product in various retail channels leveraging our tech for data-informed business decisions. This role is challenging, target-driven and operationally complex.


Roles and Responsibilities

Technology

  • Become a subject matter expert on the agency's tech tool, learning how to leverage the technology and required inputs from the field team
  • Create surveys on tools for data capture, accurately capturing client reporting needs


Ops and Logistics

  • Oversee and manage team to liaise with warehouse contact to action delivery needs/requests to field teams, monitor stock levels, and order new kit/stock from client or external suppliers as required
  • Oversee and manage team to ensure accuracy of stock tracking asset system and related documents – investigate discrepancies and issue fines for missing items as necessary


Staff Database Management & Finance Support

  • Ensure staff booking portal is maintained and accurate to staff attendance and change of circumstance
  • Monitor team notes and actions – ensure compliance and retrain as needed
  • Manage any agreed fines/bonuses for field staff directed by Account Managers


Reporting System Management and Development

  • Learn and master the in-house technology system
  • Be a primary administrator for the agency's in-house reporting platform – manage team access, train internal team usage, escalate issues to platform developer contacts as needed
  • Lead development of campaign reporting and processes in line with internal and client aims
  • Communicate updates and changes to platform developers – work towards improving platform capability and automation of both campaign and agency needs/processes


Inter-Departmental Support

  • Provide support to colleagues – motivate and re-delegate duties as needed
  • Assist in field team management – communicate by phone, email, or message to receive and resolve live issues
  • Foster positive relations with field managers – managing any troubleshooting needs for technology or data capture


Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with technology, overseeing the completion of mandatory forms in the field
  • Liaising with the field team for inputs and data capture


What are we looking for?

You will have 2 years minimum working within a brand experience, tech or staffing agency and/or field marketing agency in an operationally or tech-focused role. A detailed understanding of the staffing, experiential and/or field marketing sector is key.


Preferably you will be working now or will have held previous role(s) in a leading experiential or field marketing agency. You will have a passion for the industry and be able to demonstrate your ability to understand our technology to able to become a subject matter expert in our Tech.


You will be a ‘people person’ and a ‘detail-orientated’ individual. A brilliant and clear communicator, you’ll thrive on naturally forging relationships with team members and clients and have a confident and energetic presence. A love of technology and how to use the agency’s technology to drive efficiency and solve complex management issues is key.


Specific Experience

  • Highly presentable and able to personally convey our brand attributes – professional, knowledgeable, confident, honest, and trustworthy
  • A decent level of social capabilities played out in client relationship-building
  • Aptitude for system processes, development, and compliance management for the agency's Tech
  • Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Excel, and strong initiative for self-learning as reporting requirements develop over time
  • Fluency in Microsoft PowerPoint for building training materials for the agency's Tech, internal employees and wider external teams
  • High level of written English and eye for detail in producing both internal and external copy
  • Excellent attention to detail and meticulous personal admin
  • Highly motivated and disciplined individual able to work on their initiative and ‘make things happen’ through a determined resolute approach
  • Ability to assist with, or take ownership of, technology updates and automation
