Account Executive Basic £70-80k - OTE + Allowances + Uncapped Accelerator commission structure Remote Based The Client My client is a market leading bespoke software solutions provider powering the performance of government and industry, driving productivity and a better experience for everyone. Looking for exceptional people to take responsibility for finding and cultivating long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The role is to oversee a community of existing customers, developing incremental business from these whilst also increasing awareness of our portfolio to secure new customers. As a new joiner, you’ll be expected to participate in planning sales campaigns and promotions, but also, as a priority, find new business in your own right, generating leads and securing new logos. A successful Business Development Manager will achieve sales quotas while keeping our customers satisfied and engaged with our products and services and understand the disciplines to balanced, structured approach to sales, attending to the finer details in order to be successful. You will be involved in capturing new opportunities, forward planning, customer awareness campaigns and the provision of timely and reliable management information to support business strategy, goals, and objectives. You will be representing the whole range of our solutions to new and existing customers and will be encouraged to bring insights and intelligence back to the Group. Key responsibilities: • Owning customer relationships • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships • Promoting the use and adoption of company solutions within your allocated customer base • Incremental sales of products and services • New logo capture • Regular engagement with customers including meetings on-site, delivering product presentations and supporting demonstrations • Ensuring customer retention and working with these customers ensuring further development in the customer’s use of solutions • Negotiate contracts and close agreements in line with our lead to order process • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders Desired Skills & Experience 4+ years of relevant and related industry sales and/or pre-sales experience. Must have recent or up to date SC Clearance. Must have experience selling into Defence clients. Demonstrated track record of driving sales account revenue and exceeding revenue targets through consultative selling, supported by a current and effective network that has allowed you to do business successfully. Thorough understanding of sales cycles and a successful track record in negotiating and closing sales. Proven ability to demonstrate solution value to key prospects at ‘senior officer level’ combined with the knowledge and aptitude to present and explain the technical elements of product or services. Ability to co-ordinate the end-to end activities from pre-sales through to post sales to ensure excellent levels of engagement and service throughout the process.
