Swoop Recruitment, on behalf of our esteemed client; the UK's leading network of lettings and estate agencies, is thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Client Accounts Manager to join their dynamic Investment Management team.


Location: Manchester

Work Type: On-site, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm.

Salary: £35k - £45k dependent on experience


About the Role:


Step into a pivotal role where you will ensure the highest professional standards in managing multiple client accounts. Key responsibilities include:


  • Collaborating with the Operations Manager and Senior Director to deliver and maintain client accounts with robust controls and oversight, emphasizing cost tracking, anti-fraud measures, and debt recovery.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external requirements such as client money protection and PCI compliance.
  • Conducting due diligence on lettings client accounts during acquisitions, and managing integration planning and account mergers.
  • Working closely with client managers to maintain accurate records, improve KPI reporting, and manage day-to-day relationships with key third parties.
  • Overseeing daily account processes including payment receipting, fund allocation, reconciliations, and CRM updates.
  • Providing regular updates and KPI reporting to department heads.
  • Engaging in people management activities.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience using MRI Qube Property Management
  • Extensive experience in handling client money within the UK residential property lettings sector.
  • Expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchase ledgers, cashiering, account reconciliation, client funds management, client money protection, and statutory requirements.
  • Ability to advise Finance, Governance, and Operations teams on client accounting matters.
  • A keen eye for detail and a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
