Location:Hybrid / x2 days per week in London, England, United Kingdom

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Account Manager will be joining our in-house studio team working with a global leader in the drinks industry across a portfolio of premium spirits. The core role will focus on building great relationships with marketing professionals and managing a cross-departmental team of people to deliver return-on-investment for our clients.The person in this role will be responsible for leading digital and social projects from start to finish and ensuring each is delivered to a high quality and aligns with our clients’ brief and business objectives. Experience with digital platforms and paid social media is a must. At OLIVER, we build agency teams to work in-house in partnership with brands.

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

Reports to Account Director and will be sitting within the digital and social team we’ve created, working with a range of global-level clients and local markets around the world.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • A deep understanding of the business; their needs, expectations and requirements in order to provide the best service and solution through close partnership with the client
  • Effective project management through the full lifecycle using project governance as directed by the client – escalating issues and proactively resolving problems, managing project resource and spend and making critical decisions
  • Providing leadership to the cross-discipline agency teams working on your projects
  • Manage all day-to-day communications for projects you are working on – write status reports, contact reports, and ensure risk logs are thorough and up to date
  • Run account meetings and take responsibility for service levels and KPIs
  • Ensure proper performance tracking and reporting systems are in place to ensure programme can be tracked and measured according to the client’s needs
  • Be proactive and ready to roll up your sleeves to get stuck into all aspects of the work where required
  • Have a good understanding of performance marketing on digital platforms including Meta, Snapchat and YouTube
  • Triage and improve the accuracy of client briefs, as well as effective briefing to creative teams
  • Commercial reporting to maintain financial health of the account

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL

  • You’ve led accounts in an integrated or digital agency with minimum three years’ experience, managed multiple client stakeholders and produced work you are proud of
  • Enjoy leading a project from start to finish smoothly, spotting potential risks and pitfalls along the way and problem solving to resolve them
  • Ability to achieve growth in budgets within accounts
  • Being able to handle challenging situations and respond appropriately
  • Used to building and developing a strong network of relationships across a variety of stakeholders internal and external, from marketing managers to creative teams
  • Be committed to high quality output and service with an eye for detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills
