Created in 2008, Campings.com is the leading campsite booking website. More than 3,500 campsite partners in France and Europe are listed on our sites. Each year, we record 15 million visits and more than 1 million customers book their holidays via one of our sites.

From family campsites to 5-star resorts, we have a wide range of campsites to suit all campers.

Our ambition for 2024 is to strengthen our leading position by launching our service in several European countries. To this end, we have opened a new subsidiary in London which will be our European purchasing center. The company has nearly 120 employees in Paris, Le Mans, London and Haarlem.


Reporting to the VP Direct Sales, the account manager collaborates with a portfolio of existing accounts to build clearly defined strategies and long-term relationships which maximize sales opportunities and exceed sales targets.


What are you going to do?

Build, develop and grow strong and effective relationships with proactive accounts by:

• Supporting and developing business partners strategies, making recommendations and

proposing actions, reflective of the market and individual business models, to meet join

objectives, including company strategy

• Conduct regular meetings with accounts sharing KPIs, gaining weekly performance and

competitor intelligence, addressing issues and identifying opportunities which support

business growth

• Analyse and communicate competitor activities, sharing knowledge of the market and other

internal or external factors, which are impacting sales

• Work alongside colleagues in commercial and marketing to implement and drive commercial

focus to maximize ROI

• Manage, through liaison with the Marketing team, promotional campaigns, incentives and

other marketing activity, to engage accounts, whilst ensuring robust ROI

• Be an ambassador of the business at all times, promoting the brand, sharing excellent

product knowledge and living the core values, enhancing the profile of the business

• Identify, define, seek agreement to and implement sales development plans with accounts

to drive incremental revenue

• Be available to represent the business on familiarization visits

• Produce weekly sales reports, with relevant data on booking trends, ensuring full analysis,

interpretation of data and recommendation for action

• Identify new partnership prospects, based on full review of their potential to generate

business, seek approval to engage and work closely with them to develop sales strategies

and targets

• Represent the business at trade exhibitions, UK/overseas conferences, when required, to

enhance the company profile


Who are we looking for?

• 2-3 years experience of managing accounts at a head office level

• Sales development experience in the travel industry and a track record of exceeding targets

• Ability to build & maintain strong head office relationships at all levels

• Strong negotiation skills and sound commercial acumen – ability to ask the right questions

• Excellent communications skills both verbal and written - detailed analytical and

organisational skills

• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to recognize and react to changing customer

groups

• Self-motivated with the mind set and flexibility to undertake extensive UK and overseas

business travel

• Strong team player with the ability to offer ideas and interact with all departments of the

business

• Be able to work alone & take ownership of your accounts

• Native or bilingual French is required, a second European language (Spanish or Italian) is a plus

• Experience with Hubspot, Tableau is preferred, firm knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
