Account Manager 

Reporting to the Account Director, the candidate will be an Account Manager working in a team of 6 and could be responsible for managing an Account Executive. This team at Havas Entertainment covers the several clients across the gaming portfolio which includes clients likes of Wizards of the Coast (Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons), Dovetail Games, and Konami, and will be planning and buying media across the EMEA & APAC territories.

Job Description

The position requires a minimum of 2 + years w orking within a media agency environment and preferably with gaming industry knowledge . W e need an enthusiastic and pro-active candidate who is accustomed to the pressures and quick turnarounds of key account handling across all media . The candidate should showcase specific skills and experience relating to d igital buying and planning and must show a proficient level of knowledge in this discipline.

Experience in managing social media campaigns, and familiarity with insight tools such as TGI, Comscore , YouGov etc. would be beneficial as would implementation and optimisation within the digital self-service platforms (Facebook Business Manager/ Google AdWords etc).

Due to the nature of our agency and business, the candidate must have good communication skills; able to multi-task to an exceptional level ; good organisational skills and understand that a high level of service to our clients is expected. An additional benefit would be experience in the entertainment industries and/or a passion for entertainment; gaming especially .

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Primary Focus : Develop a strong relationship with clients built on expertise , confidence, trust, enthusiasm and reliability of their business.

Ensure all campaigns are managed and executed to an exceptional standard.

Assist the senior team on campaign planning and buying across the games portfolio.

General Work :  Day to day communication of updates and maintenance to both clients and agency departments involved in products.

Campaigns in brief.

Managing delivery of l ive campaigns and coordinating with internal departments.

Anticipating milestones and requirements on live campaigns are achievable , to ensure both client and agency departments are prepared in advance.

Reactive to adapt plans when circumstances change (release dates, budgets) and brief accordingly .

Ensur ing all standard client requirements are delivered correct and on time (contact reports, monthly competitive reviews, online status reports ) .

Manage product lifecycle from media briefing to media strategy to planning and implementation.

Client Service : Presence at clients ’ offices on a regular basis to sustain an elevated level of client service and partnership.

Attending kick-off meetings with all marketing agencies and clients.

Work with senior team to produce strategy and planning bespoke to each international territory

Work with senior team to present market, competitive and post-campaign analysis

General updates with the UK Marketing department, Digital department, and brand departments to ensure plans addre ss all requirements and general service requirements are met.

Research and help organise media workshops with client marketing departments.

Ensure weekly round-ups of agency work is communicated in a concise and clear way .

Assisting coordination of creative delivery.

Occasional international travel for client meetings and attendance of games industry events.

Agency responsibilities: Ensure communication within Havas Entertainment is standard practice to both ensure information is dynamic for strategy and planning, to generate original ideas and the games profile within the company is apparent .

Attendance of regular game team update meetings to share plans, share experience, and discuss possible area’s plans can approve. 

Work closely with the Games Digital team to deliver social media and content strategies

Be the point of contact for each from each of the main social media platform representatives

Other Information

Office hours are 9.15am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

25 days holiday per annum.

4 days mental health allowance 

Full training will be provided once evaluation of skill set has been undertaken.

Hybrid Working (3 days a week in the office)
