My client is a large pharma company seeking a Community Affairs Manager for an initial 12 month period.
ROLE:
An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen to join the Commercial Team in a Regional Account Manager role in the Scotland & North East of England territory.
• Utilizes a level of HIV product and therapeutic disease working knowledge to promote the appropriate use of products to healthcare professionals.
• Together with territory team partner prepares business plan, assigns activity and communicates required actions to achieve goals. Prepares territory budgets for customer contacts, speaker events and other miscellaneous external expenditures to drive outcomes in business plan and is accountable jointly for spend.
• With guidance, initiates systems to monitor progress and business plans and can present regular performance updates both verbally and in writing.
CANDIDATE:
- Typically requires a BA or BS degree and minimum of 2 – 5 years of highly successful selling experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Professional qualification including but not limited to HCP/ AHP
- Prior experience in appropriate therapeutic area desirable but consistent achievement of sales and account working more important.
