Your responsibilities day to day will be…

The role of Account Manager is really important to us. You will be responsible for managing and developing an existing book of clients, to develop the income of the business following group strategy and client acquisition working within all areas of the business, all members of staff and managers.

This role will be field based covering the North with regular travel to the Sheffield office.

Your responsibilities day to day will be…

  • Ensuring clients have appropriate products to meet their changing needs through conducting regular reviews and spotting opportunities to expand
  • Strengthening product adoption by educating clients on how technology services can improve their terms of insurance
  • Premium collection and credit control, liaising with Finance Managers
  • Claims management and quarterly claims analysis, liaising with Claims Handlers
  • Renewal of clients in a timely manner, liaising with Broking Managers
  • Obtain referrals for the new business team and the wider Radius business
  • Ensuring that client has all required documentation
  • Ensure that firms systems and procedures are always followed in accordance with firms’ compliance manual and FCA Regulations

Experience / qualifications required:


  • Knowledge of FCA rules and guidelines relating to commercial and private customers
  • A wide knowledge of general commercial insurance products
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own workload to ensure that deadlines are adhered
  • Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop and sustain relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to liaise with colleagues when appropriate
  • Ability to construct effective written communications, including renewal reports and portfolio reviews
