Job Title: Account Manager / Internal Sales – No Cold Calling
Salary: £31k to £32.5k pa (depending on experience)
A global paper manufacturing group is looking for an Inside Sales / Account Manager to service all customers’ requirements including orders, enquiries, sample requests and complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
This role requires someone with an ability to work under pressure with accuracy, who is quick thinking, methodical and has an eye for detail. Candidates must be strong communicators who present themselves in a smart and professional manner.
Accountabilities:
• Proactively assist with developing and maintaining sales and results
• Have a complete knowledge of company computer system and ensure it is always kept up to date
• Process stock/indent orders ensuring all pricings are accurate and credit notes are kept to a minimum
• Handle indent enquiries, and contact the mill to obtain prices and deliveries
• Co-ordinate all indent orders ensuring that delivery schedules are met and booked in as necessary
• Ensure external salesperson is kept up to date on all customer activity daily.
• Work with external salesperson to discuss and agree prices submitted to customers.
• Chase enquiries on a daily/weekly basis making every effort to convert them to orders
• Develop a full knowledge of all company products and company procedures.
• Have a full knowledge of all competitors and their products and services.
