The Company
A mid-sized publishing company with a collaborative team culture and a leading newspaper and website which provides news and information to children, tweens, and schools. They have an incredible UK readership of 2.2m. They are looking for an Account Manager / Partnerships Executive to join them as they embark on their next stage of growth.
The role of Account Manager / Partnerships Exec
As Account Manager / Partnerships Exec you will be engaging with a variety of businesses selling them print and digital advertising across the country's leading news source for children and tweens. As well as advertising campaigns and branded content, you will be talking to your clients on a deeper level exploring partnership opportunities. You will be selling to both direct clients and agencies, and campaigns generally come from the likes of theme parks/family days out, stationary brands, book publishers, educational learning businesses. However, they are now devoting more time to winning more mainstream brand campaigns as well as CSR revenue from large corporations who want to be seen to educate young minds around certain industries and careers.
It really is an exciting time to join, with a new CEO and Group Sales Manager on board; they have big plans for growth and evolution. You will be selling both face to face and over the phone, and it is a relationship-based sell rather than a more transactional phone bashing approach to business.
