Your newpany Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of their client based just outside of Elgin for an experienced Accountant or Assistant Accountant to join their small & busy team. The client will consider part-qualified, fully qualified & qualified by experience individuals and therefore, are offering a broad salary of £30,000 - £45,000 depending on experience. This position will also consider full-time & part-time individuals (minimum of 28 hours a week) and is based working within the office.Your new role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will collaborate with management and otherpany departments to carry out your accounting duties. You will assist with thepletion of monthly management accounts, monthly reporting and in the preparation of the annual budget. You willplete journals including prepayments & accruals andplete the fixed asset register. You willplete bank & balance sheet reconciliations and assist with the year-end audit. You will alsoplete various other more bespoke financial responsibilities, including reporting & some administration.What you'll need to succeed You will be an experienced Assistant Accountant or Accountant who haspleted a variety of financial responsibilities. You will have excellent IT skills including Excel. You will have excellentmunication skills and be able to work accurately to strict deadlines. You will be a good all-rounder who is happy toplete varied financial responsibilities at all levels.What you'll get in return
