Accountancy practice
Due to staff expansion, This Accountancy practice are currently seeking a part qualified Accountant to work in the North London office.
The successful part qualified Accountant will be ambitious and hard working and is seeking to develop their skills to partnership level within this Accountancy practice
The successful candidate for this role as a Part qualified Accountant role must will working towards getting their certification.
You will be working in a friendly but challenging environment and will be challenged to get to a highly skilled level, within this role. You will be looking after all types of businesses. The Part Qualified Accountant will be able to fulfill the following key responsibilities within this practice.
Responsibilities
- Key parts of this role:
- Assist with PAYE and VAT-related activities.
- Prepare accounts and tax returns for sole traders and Corporate companies
- Maintain filing systems in adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
- Update and maintain the database with accurate and current information
- Prepare reports and letters, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Answer and handle phone calls promptly and professionally
- Be able to work with Excel and Xero as software plus be able to use Microsoft
- Possess good communication skills
- Organized
- Uphold strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
