Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of Accounts Assistant for a well reputable Management Services organisation in Manchester. This is a great opportunity for someone who has recently finished with university and looking to continue their career within Accountancy where you with have a great progression plan and offers study support. The Role Duties and responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant will include: Accounts payable duties: payment of purchase invoices, maintenance of purchase ledger and manage relationships with suppliers Accounts receivable duties: Issue invoices to customers, maintenance of sales ledger and credit control Cash, debt and treasury management: Maintenance of cash books and loan schedules, manage treasury deposits arrangements and processing of interest and capital loan repayments Management accounting: Incorporating of purchase ledgers, sales ledgers, cash books and loan reschedules, uploading data on to accounting software and accruals & repayments and journals Other ad-hoc tasks including note taking in meetings and processing of companies house documents The Candidate To be considered for the role we welcome applications from candidates with the following: Previous working experience within the accounts space A degree within Accountancy & Finance or similar Experience with Microsoft Office software particularly Excel, Word, Power Point Outstanding problem-solving capabilities Ability to act on own initiative, strong problem-solver Salary & Benefits In return, the successful Accounts Assistant will receive the following: Up to £27,000 depending on experience Hybrid working - 3 days in office, 2 days from home Study support towards ACCA or CIMA Fantastic career advancement opportunities Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
