Accounts Payable Associate - IrlamAn international shared service centre offering hybrid workingAbout Our ClientOur client is a well established specialist business with a worldwide footprint.The business offers hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office plus benefits such as study support, enhanced pension which is matched up to 8% and a competitive holiday allowance.Job DescriptionKey duties include:Enter vendor's invoices in the ERP system, and ensure they are matched to the goods received and original PO quantities and pricesResolve discrepancies with internal Purchasing, Operations and external vendorsOnce matched, propose payment schedules to Divisional Finance for guidanceOn approval ensure vendors are paid promptlyProcess employee expenses against company policy and pay employees in line with approved expense reportsCharges expenses to accounts and divisions by analysing invoice/expense reports, recording entriesRuns daily cash bank reconciliationsMaintaining direct debits reconciliations, unallocated cash and aged creditors reportsSupporting month-end processesVerifying vendor's accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactionsMaintaining Master Data processes and runs vendor's verification, increasing controls against fraudMaintaining historical records by filing or archiving documentsEnsuring that tax is accounted correctly on invoicesMaintaining SLAs and KPIs within expectationsAdministrating leases for the company carsThe Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate will:Have a proven track record in a similar roleBe proficient in MS OfficeBe able to work to tight deadlinesHave the ability to work alone or as part of a teamBe an excellent communicatorWhat's on OfferA salary up to £28,000, hybrid working, study support, enhanced pension, free on site parking & more.
