Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join our highly-effective finance function and obtain a real breath of experience in a highly profitable fast-growing environment.
As a result of strong organic growth and recent overseas acquisitions the company is seeking to appoint an Accounts Payable & Receivable Manager to join their rapidly growing finance team. This is a newly created position and will provide the successful candidate an opportunity to manage a small team and build out the Group's payable and receivable functions.
About the role
Alongside supervision and line management of the Accounts Payable and Receivable team (currently made up of two members of staff), you will be responsible for all current accounts payable and receivable processes, as well as testing and rolling out new procedures and software. You'll conduct regular reviews of the purchase ledger and sales ledger with the Senior Management Accountant, and ensure the balance sheet position is correctly stated and reconciled on a monthly basis.
This is an exciting role where you can really make a difference to an important function within Finance for all of our entities, including our Insurance & Security arms.
About you
From you, we're looking for expertise in Accounts Payable & Receivable from a financial or professional services, but also high attention to detail, willingness to "challenge everything" and a "love what you do" ethos! Our finance team are a collaborative bunch. While you will be the go-to professional for Accounts Payable & Receivable, you'll have loads of support from your fellow colleagues to ensure the function is a success.
