Our client is an established, award-winning firm of accountants, tax, and business advisors based in Cheltenham. The firm is expanding their team and looking for an experienced accountant to join.
The firm provides a comprehensive range of services to businesses, their owners, and high-net-worth individuals across the UK.
Role Requirements:
- Minimum of five years' experience in practice
- Up-to-date knowledge of accounting legislation and guidance
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a people-oriented approach
- Organized, confident, and diligent with a commitment to deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on preparation of client work
- Reviewing junior and peer files
- Developing dynamic workflows using Digita, Xero, QuickBooks, Freeagent, and Sage
- Building strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Fully ACCA or ACA qualified preferred; consideration for those qualified by experience
- Strong technical skills in practice accounting
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
