Acoustic Logging Technician (Water industry)RPS are seeking Logging Technicians for our United Utilities contract to deploying logging devices which will record acoustic information from the water network pipework enabling leaks to be detected. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to gain entry to the water industry and to develop their skills and experience with one of the UK’s leading Environmental Consultancies. The pay rate for this role is Real Living Wage plus benefits. There are a number of potential locations for this role but we are particularly interested to receive applications from candidates in Greater Manchester.This is a permanent full time role working 40 hrs pw Monday to Friday.We’re RPS, our projects are all around you. What you’ll be doingYou will be working outside, deploying and collecting logging devices to fittings on the water network pipework. The data you collect will be used to help locate leaks and reduce water loss for our clients.
