Job Description

Leicestershire Adult Learning Service has a vacancy for an Admin Team Leader on a 2 year Fixed term basis until 31st March 2025

0.5 FTE (847 hrs) 18.5 hours weekly
The council has implemented hybrid working, which involves a mixture of office and home working. The successful candidate will need to be self-sufficient, able to use their own initiative and have good time management skills.

The LALS Central Accreditation and Data team in County Hall have a focus on accurate and timely data collection. The post holder will join a small team of Admin Team leaders and collectively their role is to support the Central Team HUB Manager in the management and smooth running of the team with a strong emphasis on collation and validation of the essential data and accreditation.
Duties will include (but not limited to) – Taking and processing enrolments over the phone. Registering learners with awarding bodies whilst adhering to strict deadline dates. Inputting of data on to our MIS system. Line Managing Admin Assistants and supporting the HUB Manager.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• English qualification equivalent to Functional Skills L2 or above
• Maths qualification equivalent to Functional Skills L2 or above
• To have clerical/financial/administrative skills
• Customer care experience
• Minute-taking experience
• Ability to organise and prioritise own work and assign duties to team members
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft office
• To be able to work under pressure, within short deadlines
• To have a flexible and responsive attitude
