Cardiorespiratory Investigations is a forward looking department made up of a multidisciplinary team. Investigations are offered at Salford Royal and in the community Hubs in the Salford Area. We are committed to delivering the best possible care to our patients. As an advanced practitioner in Echocardiography. the successful candidate will be BSE accredited and be competent to issue independent echo reports including, stress echocardiograms, assisting with transoesphageal echocardiograms, performing accurate and reproducible measurements and quantification, interpret findings and independently issue final clinical-technically diagnostic reports, to a highly competent professional standard.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be BSE accredited and be competent to issue independent echo reports including, stress echocardiograms, assisting with transoesphageal echocardiograms, performing accurate and reproducible measurements and quantification, interpret findings and independently issue final clinical-technically diagnostic reports, to a highly competent professional standard.
It will be necessary to work from the community hubs in addition to Salford Royal.
You will also provide teaching for medical and physiology staff in echocardiography.
The department is supported with regular consultant led echo review meetings with opportunities for further development and training.
Band 7 will only be applicable to candidates with full BSE qualification.
Applications will be considered with proof that you are actively working towards full BSE accreditation.
The pay band allocated will be appropriate to your level of experience. (band 6 if not accredited whilst training)
