What will I be doing as an Affiliate Manager at THG?

Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients to understand business objectives and campaign goals.
  • Match the right publishers to run client campaigns on a performance (CPA) basis.
  • Find and recruit new publishers to deepen our reach to specific audiences.
  • Establish clear new customer acquisition driving initiatives to exceed growth targets for our clients.
  • Understand individual publisher performance and use this information to drive optimal performance.
  • Plan and organise promotional activity with affiliate partners across a range of verticals.
  • Collaborate with wider regional trading and marketing teams to understand and support key campaigns, promotions, and marketing messages.
  • Collaborate with other digital channels to ensure optimal customer journey and create a holistic digital strategy.
  • Nurture current publisher relationships, recommending campaigns that will suit their brand.
  • Line management and recruitment of Affiliate Executives and Senior Affiliate Executives.
  • Ensure your team maintains regular communication with both clients and publishers during campaigns, with good lines of communication throughout the campaign.
  • Oversee development of campaign assets.
  • Oversee development of network marketing material for specific verticals.
  • Plan and oversee weekly offers via our affiliate network platforms.
  • Work closely with the Head of Affiliates to bring new campaign ideas to the channel.
  • Represent THG Ingenuity clients at networking events.
  • Provide in-depth performance reporting and channel analysis against forecast KPIs to key stakeholders on daily/weekly/monthly cycles.
  • Work across client forecasts to ensure we meet monthly targets but also spend budgets strategically.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in affiliate management and affiliate strategy execution.
  • Target driven with a strong commercial understanding and ability to report and make decisions based on marketing KPIs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with junior executives.
  • Excellent digital skills including writing engaging emails and using online tools.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work with a variety of styles and personalities.
  • Line management and team building/recruitment experience (desired).
  • Prior experience in a client-facing role within a digital business.
  • Prior experience in an affiliate business running performance campaigns on a CPL/CPA basis.

  • Cost efficiency and COS.
  • New publisher onboarding.
  • Publisher click & revenue % active status.
  • New customer acquisition target.
  • Delivery of Sales, Traffic, AOV, and Conversion KPIs across the group.
  • Performance of direct reports.
