Senior Vice President of AI & Data – London ( Hybrid ) £130,000 – 150,000

What you’ll do

Our Artificial Intelligence & Data experts work within integrated teams from enterprise improvement, financial advisory and turnaround and restructuring; meaning the jobs we do cover every aspect of a business. Along with this, our seasoned professionals are recognised as experts in their respective fields, leveraging their skills and experience to create measurably improved outcomes for our clients. In this challenging role, you will be responsible for using your data analytics and technology skills to improve your client’s performance.

As part of our team, you will lead organisations through their most complex business problems using data, analytics and technology. You will work across a number of industries, clients, and project roles. As an integral part of the project team you will use data to assess client performance and help define their business objectives and strategy. You will conduct the analysis, generate insight and help develop a strategy for improving the overall business performance. You will be challenged to then present the business case for the value of the approach to your client.

Business Management Consulting

  • Develop enterprise data strategies that maximize data asset value, align with business objectives, and leverage opportunities for competitive advantage and operational efficiency.
  • Translate complex business issues into actionable technology approaches.
  • Help lead AI and data solution implementation to ensure value realization, driving change management initiatives to integrate new technologies and processes, and monitoring and measuring the impact of solutions to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Own client relationships by presenting findings, key insights, and proposed solutions, ensuring effective communication, and fostering strong, long-term partnerships.

Data and Technology

  • Extract, manipulate, transform and analyse data from a wide variety of corporate structured and unstructured sources, 3rd party providers and publicly available data.
  • Leverage cloud data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Databricks, or similar for handling, processing and analysing complex, high-volume data both structured and unstructured.
  • Ability to script repetitive data tasks in an explainable and documented way.
  • Experience with using cloud products and solutions through APIs, particularly MS Azure and AWS.
  • Ability to design multi-step data pipelines combining scripted transformation and API calls to various services.

Data Science

  • Use Python or R, alongside SQL to analyse and model complex, high volume data.
  • Develop and apply clustering, classification, regression, anomaly detection, natural language processing, or GenAI models to business use cases.
  • Apply advanced analytics to business scenarios such as pricing, CLV (including acquisition and retention), marketing budget allocation, product recommendation, sales forecasting, labour productivity, inventory optimization, and predictive maintenance.
  • Deploy models and track their performance to ensure they meet business objectives and deliver value.
  • Design and implement reporting and visualisations that present insight in a clear, concise and engaging way, in relation with business objectives and key analysis questions.
  • Effectively communicate technical approaches, implementations, and findings to a non-technical audience.

What you’ll need

  • The ideal candidate will have a mix of consulting and industry/technical experience.
  • Relevant project management experience in analytics within a leading or analytics-focused consulting firm.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of data, technology and one or more data-focused programming languages such as SQL, Python, R..
  • Experience with generic programming languages such as Java, C++, Rust, Go, JavaScript etc. is a plus.
  • Experience using data-driven analysis to develop strategies and improve business performance.
  • Strongly motivated to be a player in a team that is constantly working to improve themselves through discovering new analytics techniques and software tools to improve the quality of our work.
  • Ability to supervise small team of junior consultants and provide them coaching to develop their technical and general business skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Adaptability with strong multi-tasking and time management skills. Excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with high achievers and demanding client expectations.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to adapt dynamically to changing business conditions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.
  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday
