If you are an experienced ODP or Anaesthetic Nurse, we would love to hear from you. We have a various hospitals in and around London looking for an Anaesthetic ODPs (or Nurses) to join their Theatre team.
* Anaesthetic ODP / Nurse
* Private/NHS Hospitals
* Central London
* £28- £40/hr
* Flexible hours on offer - long days or short days.
* Contract typy: Locum / Temporary
* Block / Single bookings
Job Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the preparation of patients before surgery, including positioning, draping, and sterile techniques.
* Setting up and troubleshooting anaesthetic equipment and instruments.
* Administering anaesthesia under the supervision of an anaesthetist.
* Monitoring patients' vital signs and responding to any changes or complications.
* Assisting with airway management, including intubation and extubating procedures.
* Administering medications and fluids as directed by the anaesthetist.
* Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the anaesthetic process.
* Documenting patient care activities and maintaining accurate records.
* Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient operating room procedures.
* Adhering to all infection control and safety protocols.
To be considered for this role you must have the below:
* NMC registration
* Nursing degree, ILS or ALS training
* 12-months experience as a Anaesthetic ODP within the last 3 years in a UK hospital theatre
* Knowledge of anaesthetic techniques and equipment.
* Moving and Handling training (available when you join)
* Strong communication skills, organisation, flexibility and good teamwork skills
* The right to work in the UK
