Job Description

Purpose of Position:

The role supports regional Relationship Managers by coordinating and managing activities for existing client relationships and prospecting in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and German-speaking Switzerland). As an Analyst in the Investor Relationship team, responsibilities include data collation and analysis, communication with investors and prospects, and administrative and project management duties to ensure smooth Investor Relations operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Relationship Managers with maintaining existing investor relationships and prospecting in the DACH region.
  • Coordinate and produce presentation materials, cash flow forecasts, performance data, due diligence materials, and handle follow-ups.
  • Maintain detailed records of client and prospecting activities using a CRM system.
  • Manage the closing/transfer process for investors, support due diligence processes, and collate KYC/AML documents.
  • Support RFP processes by preparing requested data.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal teams and external service providers to ensure data compliance and client/prospect activity compliance.
  • Assist senior team members in their daily activities.
  • Participate in projects that benefit the wider firm and improve processes.

Work Environment:

  • The role involves both internal and, after training, external responsibilities, with much investor contact conducted via phone and email.
  • Coordination with Relationship Managers and various internal teams (marketing, operations, investment, and legal) is essential.

Candidate Profile:

  • Passion for private markets and the financial industry.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Fluent Business German and English verbal and written skills are essential

Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • Knowledge of the Asset Management and Private Market industry.
  • Role suitable for a German Speaker with a passion for the industry. IR experience not necessary but a first experience of a corporate role, post graduation, required.
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills with a client-centric mindset.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, discretion, and judgment.
  • Strong analytical skills and high initiative.
  • Ability to work under pressure with some supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint (Ability to analyse large data sets and translate into actionable insights/visuals)
  • Degree level education is essential.
