Job DescriptionAnalytical Chemist£30,000 - £35,000LiverpoolCY partners are recruiting for an Analytical Chemist to join a specialist In-organics laboratory in the Liverpool area. Providing critical materials used in advanced technologies the modern world relies on, in this position you will be integral part of the technical team, managing the analysis of in-organic samples to ensure they meet strict quality & purity requirements.Outside of the lab, this position will also be a key member of the team, representing the technical department and providing technical advice to shape strategic direction. Key responsibilities:Analysis of in-organics samples using ICP-OES and Ion Chromatography. Manage the laboratory ensuring smooth operation and timely delivery of results. Validation of new methods. Collaborating with clients and international colleagues to troubleshoot issues, identifying root-causes and solutions. Ensure strict Health, Safety and Environmental standards are maintained. Requirements:A degree or similar qualification in Chemistry, or relevant field. Proven laboratory experience – ideally in an in-organics laboratory. Experienced with ICP / IC analysis.Knowledge of trace metals analysis would be advantageous. Confident communicator with the ability to manage & influence internal stakeholders.
