PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The ASO Manager will help to drive ii’s ASO (App Store Optimisation) & ASA/UAC strategies and performance.
Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
Devise and implement strategies to improve App Store ranking and drive ii app installs
Manage and scale ASA and UAC campaigns to drive new customer acquisition
Work with external agencies and internal teams to gain insights and identify areas in which to optimise the ii app
Provide guidelines and recommendations to other teams/stakeholders on how to maximise discoverability and improve conversion rate based on analytics and insights
Coordinate and manage optimisation projects from inception through to completion, working with internal and external stakeholders across creative, product, marketing and other business functions
Execute A/B test plans to increase conversions, establishing best practices, documenting results and assisting with implementation
Manage the keyword optimisation strategy
Devise an adequate reporting suite, refining measurements and evaluating tech requirements
Maintain the first line of Risk/Compliance defence by ensuring individual adherence to business processes and procedures that are designed to meet the regulatory standards set out in the relevant FCA rules and guidance.
Make informed risk decisions and effectively and credibly debate and challenge management recommendations within your role in line with the approved Risk Management Framework.
Maintain the first line of defence by reviewing/supporting the risks and controls assigned to the department.
Promote change through Root Cause Analyse from Risk events completed.
2-4 years' experience working in app or search marketing
Thorough knowledge of app store performance requirements and ability to communicate guidelines to relevant internal teams
Experience of developing both organic and paid app install strategies
Experience of managing 3rd party agencies
Experience planning and conducting A/B testing in collaboration with related business functions
Experience of working with product/dev teams to manage and deliver new features / content
Experience supporting keyword optimisation strategies
Extremely organised with solid project management skills
Ability to collect and analyse data to gain insights from conversion rate tests
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Experience within regulated industry desired but not essential
