Job Title: Absolute Application Resilience EngineerDuration: 6 MonthsLocation: Knutsford/remote - 2/3 days in the officeIR35 Status: INSIDEWe are recruiting for a Application Consultant with hands on technical experience with Absolute Application Resilience & configuration. This will be on an initial 6 month contract, working onsite in Knutsford (Cheshire), 2-3 days per week. Primary Responsibilities* Architect and engineer Absolute Application Resilience solutions that align with corporate level strategies.* Create, review and maintain Absolute security solution documentation including documenting & publishing fixes in central knowledge base.* Work with global teams to provide consistent processes and solutions.* Competency to lead technical and strategic conversations with respect to Absolute and can advise partners on complex technical deployments and guidance on Application Resilience and Recovery.Technical Skills & Competencies* 3 - 4+ years of Industry experience* Hands on Technical experience with Absolute Application Resilience & configuration* Experience designing and building high-performance, secure, scalable, observable, supportable, and maintainable backend services.* Knowledge of Tanium, MS Defender for Endpoint and Zscaler* Knowledge of Bitlocker agent configuration, logging and health monitoring.* Experience with multiple cloud technologies (., AWS and Azure)* Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills across complex systems.* Able to articulate complicated processes to non-technical stakeholders.* Experience creating designs for implementation of commercial off the shelf products* Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills.* Experience of dealing with incident, problem, and change management processes.* Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills.* Experience of dealing with incident, problem and change management processes.Desirable:* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.* Previous experience in the financial sector* Demonstrates excellent judgment for balancing between rapid development, long-term code maintainability and supportability.* Believes in the power of and the need for writing automated tests as part of development."
