Purpose of the role
Our client is a family-owned leading UK Travel Management Company currently expanding globally that has been built upon passion, integrity and principles.
Their people are the foundations of their reputation. They are looking for an Application Developer to join their team as they continue to grow.
The Application Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining the in-house traveller profile and database tools, as well as building new online traveller tools in a fast-paced business environment.
You will also assist in developing and implementing systems to ensure they are utilizing best-in-class technology within the company for all business processes and procedures. Additionally, you will aid in documenting any implemented processes and in-house technologies.

Strong technical experience of building complex applicationsAnalytical and MethodicalBeing a team player and having a keen eye for detail is a must
Technical Experience/ KnowledgeEssential:3+ years commercial development experienceExcellent HTML, JavaScript and CSS skillsExcellent knowledge of Relational Databases (preferably MySQL)Excellent knowledge in all types of APIs (SOAP & Restful) and XMLUbuntu & Windows ServersKnowledge and understanding of cloud services (preferably Azure)Use of code repositories (preferably Git)Working with Agile methodology
Good experience in a minimum of three of the following:PHP programming languageC# and .NETExperience with the Laravel frameworkExperience of a GDS (Global Distribution System) such as Sabre or GalileoExperience of Dynamics 365/Dataverse
Salary £55,000K - Depending on ExperienceHours of Work (Flexible) - 8am - 5.30pm - Monday to FridayHoliday - 25 days plus Stats
