<div><h3>Job Description</h3><div><p><strong>The Opportunity: </strong></p><p>My client are based in the retail sector and they are currently looking for an Application Support Engineer to join their business.</p><p>In this role you will be resolving technology issues with system setup, day to day running and integration; assessing criticality and prioritising accordingly.</p><p>This is providing 2nd/3rd line systems support for my clients technology, working collaboratively with support teams, head office colleagues and partners to resolve issues in a timely manner. </p><p>You must be able to hit the ground running in this role and have extensive experience of some kind of ERP system.</p><p><strong>Skills and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience working in a retail technology-based environment</li><li>Significant experience working in an IT support environment </li><li>Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central</li><li>Excellent communication skills and customer centric focus, capable of dealing with difficult and stressful situations</li><li>Some Data Analysis skills and the use of SQL would be advantageous</li><li>Experience supporting end users, POS application setup and integration, training and UAT testing is essential</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose to a high standard </li><li>Ability to operate in a complex, time critical, and constantly evolving environment</li><li>Highly organised and displays strong attention to detail </li><li>Ability to be independent and resourceful, escalating issues where necessary</li><li>Ability to work to strict deadlines with excellent time management skills </li><li>Maintains strong relationships with colleagues both within IT and across the wider business</li><li>Experience in writing support documentation </li><li>Good MS Excel experience with strength in using multiple data sources within pivot tables</li></ul><p><strong>Please call John Noonan here at ISR to learn more . </strong></p></div></div>
