Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Application and Systems Team Manager to join the Application Innovation & Data Team within Digital Innovation and ICT, Strategic Support Services. This role will work closely with Application managers and People services to ensure compliance with information governance and data sharing. Using effective data management, secure procedures, and data analysis to establish data sharing between applications and partners. Providing innovation and data support to projects across applications. Managing the Information Systems Specialists within the Innovation and Data Team. In this role you would need to: Understand legislation around GDPR and retention and disposal of information across service and applications. Investigate and implement automated processes to maintain data quality and ensure parity between systems. Support the application strategy looking for opportunities and innovation across the application landscape. You will need: To be adept at identifying patterns, drawing insights from data, and solving complex problems. To use statistical methods, data mining techniques, and predictive analytics to drive application strategy. Working for Sheffield City Council brings with it great opportunities and benefits.
