Job Description

Role Overview

As an Applications Engineer you will be pivotal in bringing together state of the art sub-systems (computer, vision, audio, motion, and driver) used in our world class driver-in-the-loop simulators.

You will also be integral to the assembly, commissioning, testing, and servicing of the systems on-site.

What will you be doing?

  • Work on cutting-edge computer and graphical systems on world leading, award-winning, automotive simulators.
  • Implement multi-projector, simulation-grade vision systems, professional-quality audio systems, high end IT systems including PC components and networking equipment.
  • Quality-check and approve simulators before release to customer.
  • Assist with customer support for aftersales.
  • This role has the possibility of travel to international customer installations to commission and service our systems.


What are we looking for?

  • Knowledge of high end PC systems down to component level.
  • Experience of software and firmware configuration.
  • Ability to work with complex systems to high standards in a methodical and repeatable manner.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Be a fast and critical thinker, motivated by finding solutions to problems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
