More than 1000 employees work for the Hidrostal Group worldwide and live the typical Hidrostal values such as sustainability, independence and quality.</p><p>To strengthen our team in Castleford, we are looking for a talented and motivated Applications Engineer.</p><h3>Task:</h3><ul><li>Selection of pump equipment according to customer specification</li><li>Calculate pipe friction loses and produce curves using in-house tools</li><li>Prepare eslimate and quotations for customers</li><li>Deliver high standard quotes, solutions and technical information to customers throughout the enquiry to quotation process</li><li>Provide support to Area Sales Managers</li><li>Provide internal technical support</li><li>Provide support to Commercial Manager</li></ul><h3>Your profile:</h3><ul><li>HNC/D or degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent</li><li>Experience of centrifugal pumps</li><li>Experience of waste water industry and framework</li><li>Experience preparing and delivering estimates and quotations in manufacturing / Engineering business</li><li>Experience of working in ISO quality system</li><li>Experience in inturpreting engineering drawings, specifications and schematics</li><li>Experience of working with commercial terms and conditions</li></ul>
