Senior Maritime Warfare Instructor Relocation Available-Serco The team at HMAS Watson, in Sydney, Australia are extremely proud of the high-quality maritime warfare training services we provide on behalf of the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). We are seeking highly skilled Navy officers trained in Navigation and Maritime Warfare to join our established team. We have a great salary on offer as well as providing relocation assistance (including Flights, Shipping of personal goods and Accommodation in Sydney). The purpose of this position is to provide advanced navigation training and advanced tactical training to RAN Junior Officers to a competency whereby they can perform the duties of an Officer-of-the-Watch on board a RAN vessel.
*The incumbent of this position MUST hold and maintain a defence security clearance of NV1 (or Commonwealth equivalent), or above. ** Education requirements for a Navigation specialist* Platform Endorsement on any major war vessel (such as Frigate or Destroyer) or minor war vessel (such as a patrol boat) within the RAN, or Commonwealth equivalent.
* Bridge Watchkeeping Certificate on any major war vessel (such as a Frigate or Destroyer) within the RAN, or Commonwealth equivalent.
