We are working with a young, cutting edge and forward thinking UK Architectural Practice of award-winning Architects and designers, their projects are known to be bold in concept and radical in approach - they continue to win awards for design, planning and delivery and are recognised as sustainability champions and materials innovators - designing functional and socially useful buildings that enhance and aid the lives of the people that encounter and inhabit them. We have an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technician or Technologist to join their studio and to develop a career in a young, well-structured, supportive environment. The role will be working with the project lead and include drawing production and contributing to planning applications and other regulatory application procedures. Developing project briefs and working on these as the project progresses. To prepare and present design proposals using computer-aided design (CAD) and REVIT, as well as traditional drawing methods and to lead the detailed design process and co-ordinate design information, with the ability to produce, analyse and advise on detailed specifications for suitable materials or processes to be used. The ideal candidate will be an Architectural Technician or Technologist with previous studio experience and proven technical capabilities, developing high quality technical information with excellent attention to detail and with excellent working knowledge of Adobe packages, Revit, AutoCAD and Photoshop. Previous studio experience working in the residential and mixed-use sectors preferred on medium to large scale projects.
