Driver Project Service offer a full range of planning, project management and commercial management services for both construction and civil engineering projects.
Driver Project Services are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in major chemical, petrochemical or oil and gas related projects to support one of our teams on a dynamic, long-term project in Teesside area.
The role:
Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for managing cost effective work prioritisation, specification, and plan development for all maintenance work primarily on the products area, in accordance with operational needs, and required engineering standards. Key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Lead the application of the Clients engineering standards and policies primarily within the products area.
- Manage delivery of area maintenance engineering requirements for area in line with business needs.
- Manage the specification and planning of maintenance work in order to provide cost-effective assurance of the safety, production, integrity, and reliability.
- Responsible for the regulatory and company compliance for the area.
- Responsible for area ORM budget attainment.
Due to the breadth of the Logistics area, the Area Maintenance Engineer will take delegated actions from the Area Maintenance Manager.
Key candidate criteria:
Degree qualified in mechanical engineering or other, related discipline. Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in engineering or maintenance within petrochemical, nuclear or oil and gas projects. Preferably be Chartered engineer with an appropriate professional engineering institution.
