Purpose of the Role
The successful candidate will manage existing relationships at over 200 stores /wholesalers located around the UK. As well as looking at new business opportunities to develop our client's collections and brand.
Key Responsibilities include
- Develop and oversee our client's wholesale business in the UK.
- Maintain close dialogue with wholesalers so they can represent our client in the best way via regular visits and online.
- Ensure our client is represented in all relevant stores in the UK.
- Participate in relevant trade shows.
- Look at potential business development opportunities to grow our client's collections and brand.
- Liaise with overseas sales/marketing colleagues to grow sales and brand awareness internationally.
Key experience and skills needed for the role.
- Must have a strong account management and business development background.
- Experience in the Toy and /or Design sector would be advantageous.
- Have a commercially international mind-set.
- Be proactive, structured, and organised.
- Self-motivated and a team player
- Having an interest in design would be desirable.
- Understanding of a P&L
