About The Role

Due to our continued growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Area Support Manager to join our business covering our sites within Scotland.

This role will suit an experienced cleaner, looking to take the next step in their career. A van, full uniform, equipment and all of the products required to carry out your role will be provided, and in addition to working with an enthusiastic operations team.

Job Summary

Delivering an effective mobile cleaning service as directed across Scotland.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cleaning of sites based on agreed specification
  • Training of site based staff, including completion of inductions
  • Completion of audits
  • Recording all visits on the internal system
  • Driving and enforcing the use of the clocking-in system
  • Building and maintaining positive site-level client relationships
  • Provision of information to cleaners relating to their role (clocking in details, cleaning spec. etc.)
  • Ensuring health & safety legislation is followed at all times.
  • Responding to ad hoc requests from Area and Regional Manager
  • Escalating any concerns or site-level intelligence to the Area Manager
  • Completing stock checks and following agreed process for ordering (likely to be request CS to order)
  • Effective collaboration with Regional Managers and Area Managers

Qualifications and Skills

  • A full UK Drivers licence
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • A proactive approach and an excellent eye for detail, methodical and organised
  • Self motivated, confident and an engaging approachable manner with a ‘can do’ flexible attitudeto work requirements
  • Excellent client focus and a proven track record of service delivery in facilities management or contract cleaning environment
  • Team player and able to motivate others
