Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust – Project Coordinator (VPPP)

In November 2023, the Trust was delighted to be awarded an additional £10M through the Autumn Statement to enable its successful pilot programme, Veterans’ Places, Pathways and People (VPPP), to continue the impactful and collaborative projects that are improving how veterans can access mental health support locally, and building stronger links between the organisations that support them.

This additional funding is to increase support to a significant community of vulnerable veterans throughout the UK and enable it to become self-sustaining.

A key success in the initiative so far has been the growth of collaborative cross sector working among organisations that support veterans in all four nations, giving a more seamless interface between statutory and charity or not for profit support.

In order to build on this success in the continuation of this programme we are seeking a project coordinator.

Role Description

Reporting to: Head of Strategic Grants & Relationships

Summary of role:

  • Support the strategic delivery of the VPPP programme over the next 3 years through undertaking a range of tasks including grantholder co-ordination and liaison, grantholder meeting facilitation and network development.
  • Occasional site visits to grantholders and attendance at meetings and conferences at the discretion of the Trust.
  • Support policy and communication activities in relation to the VPPP programme.

Full-time role Salary £28k – £33k dependent on experience.

We are recruiting for a full time (37.5 hours per week) role but are open to discussing the possibility of part time arrangement (80% FTE) for the right candidate.

This 3–year project will be home based, with occasional requirement for travel to attend meetings in London or elsewhere in the UK (for which expenses will be paid). The Trust is committed to being an equal opportunities employer and to providing development and training opportunities.
