Role Overview: We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Part-Time Art Teacher to inspire our students and help them achieve their artistic potential. This role involves teaching art to students across KS3 and KS4, fostering a love for the subject, and encouraging creative exploration. This is an excellent opportunity for both ECTs and experienced educators seeking a flexible part-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging art lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
Develop and implement a creative and comprehensive art curriculum.
Encourage and inspire students to explore various artistic techniques and mediums.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Organize and participate in art exhibitions, displays, and extracurricular activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to promote a cohesive and dynamic learning environment.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Art or a related field.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for art education.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
Flexibility and adaptability in a part-time teaching role.
