Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
Location: Glasgow, Central Scotland.
Salary / Benefits £24K - £35k + Training + Benefits
We are working closely with a privately owned and industry leading Asbestos Consultancy. They are now looking to take on an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst in the Scotland region. You will be covering Commercial and Industrial sites, carrying out the full range of surveying and analytical duties in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines and producing detailed reports using TEAMS / TRACKER based on site findings. For the successful candidate, our client can offer a generous holiday allowance, opportunities for progression and company pension scheme. Due to the nature of the role, consideration will be given to candidates who only have the BOHS P402 and experience carrying out surveys.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Coatbridge, Hamilton, East Kilbride, Kilmarnock, Paisley, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Stirling, Kirkaldy, Cumbernauld, Dunfermline.
Experience & Qualifications:
Holding the BOHS P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent qualifications.
Will have experience working for a UKAS accredited consultancy working hands on as a surveyor / analyst.
Well versed in HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
Confident in using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
The Role:
Carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
Carrying out re-inspection surveys upon completion of surveys.
4 stage clearances.
Carrying out visual inspections on asbestos enclosures.
Sampling of suspected ACMs, ensuring to bag and label correctly prior to sending for analysis.
Using TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce detailed reports based on site findings.
Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
Carrying out audits on site in line with client needs.
